There is something quite sinister, creepy and over all sickening about the new Lanvin for H&M video. I'm not quite sure if its the background music, the moments when the footage is sped up, or the total disrespect for anything but fashion. I also found the scene where the older women and younger lady ( I'm guessing mother and daughter) are dancing. There's something a little off about it.
Over all I was shocked and shock is good. It achieved its purpose and i definitely want an item from this range now.
The entire Lanvin for H&M collection can be seen in their official video, It stars the likes of Natasha Poly as the girl who wants nothing but Lanvin from a male suitor who keeps bringing her other trinkets like flowers and diamonds, and Hannelore Knuts, Jane Schmitt and Tati Collitar.
Lanvin for H&M consists of 30 womenswear pieces with 15 accessories (including shoes, jewelery, sunglasses, tights, gloves and lipstick), and 25 pieces for men with 10 accessories (includes shoes, bow ties, ties, a scarf and a cap). It will hit 200 H&M stores around the world with North America getting it first on November 20 (probably so it doesn’t launch too close to the Thanksgiving holiday) and the rest of the world on November 23 2010.
