Three Brave Celebrity Looks to Make Your Own

UK radio jock Fearne Cotton, French actress Léa Seydoux and American Hollywood sweetheart Olivia Munn all have one thing in common despite their geographical differences - they all like to experiment with fashion and try something a little out of the box. The thoughts of fashion critics slide off them like body balm on a really hot day. They do as they please in the fashion stakes and it's paid off.

The month of August saw all three try new designer styles that worked well on them, but might have been a miss on anyone else.

I loved Fearne (from BBC Radio One) in a matchy-matchy jacquared pant set by Boutique By Jaeger. The forest green colour worked well against her blonde locks, she also played this look down and made it almost resort-ready thanks to wooden clogs. This look screams "Friday night with the girls".

Léa Seydoux decided to clash instead of match. A Parisian Louis Vuitton stripped long sleeve dress was layered with a LV tweed jacket with frayed edges. She then offset the entire ensemble with red lips, red nails, red clutch and matching heels. How clever, it really works!

Finally, the last look I fell for was a little more traditional - although I'm contemplating whether that's more to do with the fact that Olivia Munn is a classic beauty. This Michael Kors monochromatic dress with a tight bodice and flattering ribbing is sexy (perhaps even a tad red-light district) but still compleatly put together thanks to the nude pumps. Her stylist did well.

What do you guys think? Are these hits or misses in your opinion?
